Airtel DTH users - Please help

Hi I am currently on Dish Tv [Zee] and planning to move to airtel DTH , I am having second thought on Sun Direct also ..I have a 40" samsung , Onkyo 3200 5.1 and ps3 , so planning to get a HD ..I saw ADTH on a friends 21" TV .. normal .. and was impressed by the clarity , but that doesnt actullay equate to viewing on bigger screen ..so here are my few question1.) anyone used ADTH HD or Sun direct HD , please can u compare both these DTh ?2.) Does ADTH HD have a optical Sound output ? As my receiver is only HDMI pass through ... 3.) Are normal channels - Non HD channels are upscaled in ADTH HD ?4.) Shall i get HD now or wait for some more time ? 5.) which DTH provider have the best video cum sound clarity ?6.) If not HD can u guys compare normal ADTH with other DTh providers regarding clairty ... 7.) Currently ADTH HD have only one HD channel ( NG ) , what other channels might be added ? I am currently shelling out 320+ Rs on Dish tv , and their clarity sucks on my big screen... so please help me on what to choose ...I basically need South Packs .. as i am from Tamil Nadu and not much interested in hindi Channels ... so also suggest me a package which suites me..thanks in advance for those who reply...Looking forward for your replies guy

Boss, I havent used both of dem so cant comment. Ill try to answer few questions.Dishtv is a crap of a DTH. Airtel has better PQ.2) These r the features of Airtel HD STBFeatures: 1. Single Chip With De-Mod & Decode 2. HD + SD simultaneous decode. 3. Advance AVC/MPEG-4 Decoder 4. Digital Noise Reduction 5. MPEG-4/ DVB-S2 Technology 6. HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) 7. SPDI/F (Digital audio interface) 8. High Speed USB-2.0 9. Macrovision (7.01), CGMS-A,SVP & HDCP. 10. External Power Supply from 90 to 270V. 11. Universal Remote. 12. High definition aspect ratio supported 13. Component Output3) No, Normal channels are in SD only.4) With only one channel, not a gud idea, others give more channels.5) BIGTV has the best Pic quality, the logo is irritating, try also for BIG TV HD DVR6) As said BIG TV has the best PQ, next comes Airtel, sundirect, Tata Sky+, TS, D2H, Dish tv7) No idea, since 2 and half months they habe only one channel.Airtel provides very cheap packs, airtel has 18 Tamil channels max pack is Rs 360 , there r different packs, check their website packs section.Check for BIG TV too

Worst Customer Service and the logo of BIG TV is irritating. But no one can beat BIG TV in terms of PQ

Naveen,I am having a 32" Full HD LCD tv and using airtel dth service. I am very happy with PQ compared to Dishtv and even Tata Sky.Airtel DTH HD would be even better for a 40" tv but right now they have only National Geographic channel.Dish tv provides Zee TV, Zee Cinema, Discovery & NG in HD format but charge 100Rs only for HD pack.You can also try reliance big tv. The PQ is outstanding. Its even better in its HD DVR. It retails at 5K.

Its Gud as well but costly in terms of its packages. U may check the demo of it in any showroom like croma and all.
