2 of my friends also getting same speed. My LCO is a Gunda never allowed any outside ISP in my area for last 5 years. Connection is directly given by airtel but maintenance part is handled by my LCO.

So, in the year 2021, I registered for Airtel Brodband Fixedline Fiber ("Fiber") and at the time of registration/installation, I chose the Airtel Basic Broadband Plan i.e. 40 Mbps (Rs. 499 + GST), and I used to get 50 Mbps, without any fluctuation, download/upload. But recently, for 3 weeks, I have been getting 40 Mbps (as per plan), and I thought that the issue was with my connection. So, to clear all the confusion, I contacted some of my friends, who have fiber installed at their homes, with different plans, and they also claimed, after doing multiple speed tests, that their Download/Upload speed has been reduced to the subscribed plan.

Is anyone facing the same issue i.e. speed getting as per plan and the the company has reduced the extra 10-20 Mbps (on fixed-line)?

Does anyone have any solution for this?

Who dont even get benefits like fibre users and have only 1TB of usage data which gives data anxiety

Airtel ensures that we get the service what we’re paying for, people should not have problem with this capping.
Not seen jio users complaining ever.

Hi All,

I have noticed that speeds have reduced ( hyd region). Earlier was receiving 20% more. Now exact speed as advertised.
Earlier i used to get 240 Mbps for 200Mbps plan now speedtest is showing at around 198,199,200 Mbps. Looks like they have removed the extra over provisioning.

Did anyone notice the same ?
