What's wrong with you all?
Airtel has never promised extra speeds neither in their contracts nor in any promotional offers and it was never obliged to provide you with extra speeds.
This extra speed was a narrative to attract customers, nothing more
@catchmeify If you subscribed to Airtel solely for the supposed 20% extra speed, then consider switching to another ISP. Jio is currently the top choice. @Aryanraj You should have your connection checked. What specific latency issues are you experiencing? Please elaborate so others can help.
Other ISP including ACT followed airtel and offered more speeds. This will set a bad precedent and other companies will cap the speed too, now.
It's not whining when a consumer raises valid issues and puts out constructive criticism about the brand they use. It was a differentiating factor for Airtel and they officially collaborated with many youtubers who pointed out you'll get extra speed. Now all of a sudden, it's false and you don't get that anymore
No offense to you in particular, but it's time we stop behaving like stupid fans who support their favourite companies no matter what. You seem to have zero idea about how the market or competition works.
@Smallship it would be an issue if Airtel advertises 200 and give 180
They never said or promote that they will provide 240 on 200 plan.
They were allowing this but it would have been to test system stability, overall usage etc and should not be a reason to complain that you are not getting more than the plan that you have opted for.
