One thing i liked about Airtel being removed. Also I used to get 480 Mbps with ipv6 Switched on. Now that also has been removed.

true, i was getting average 45-48mbps on 40mbps plan now it remains under 40mbps which is really bad. the ping is also higher now.

What's wrong with you all?
Airtel has never promised extra speeds neither in their contracts nor in any promotional offers and it was never obliged to provide you with extra speeds.
This extra speed was a narrative to attract customers, nothing more

@catchmeify If you subscribed to Airtel solely for the supposed 20% extra speed, then consider switching to another ISP. Jio is currently the top choice.
@Aryanraj You should have your connection checked. What specific latency issues are you experiencing? Please elaborate so others can help.

which is really bad
seriously?
Lastly, if you want more speed, upgrade to a higher speed plan dont depend on alms by a ISP and stop whining here please.

@anmolbhard004

Other ISP including ACT followed airtel and offered more speeds. This will set a bad precedent and other companies will cap the speed too, now.

It's not whining when a consumer raises valid issues and puts out constructive criticism about the brand they use. It was a differentiating factor for Airtel and they officially collaborated with many youtubers who pointed out you'll get extra speed. Now all of a sudden, it's false and you don't get that anymore

No offense to you in particular, but it's time we stop behaving like stupid fans who support their favourite companies no matter what. You seem to have zero idea about how the market or competition works.
