Airtel Reception - Indoor Problem

I don't know the problem we are facing is related to indoor or anything else, but I and my 4-5 other friends having AIRTEL are facing strange problem in Pune.
If we receive call from somebody, and if we press 'ACCEPT' button on mobile, call for the 'caller' gets started, but we can't hear anything, nor does the caller. If 'caller' calls 2nd time, then we both can hear. (Or we have to call that number :S)
Also if we call somebody, 1st time call is not established, and no caller tune is heard. If we dis-connect & call again then call is connected.
It is observed on various handset models mainly Samsung, Motorola, LG.
Anybody in Pune-Pimpri facing this problem?:huh:
 
From last week airtel recp in chennai city is very poor ..... I do not know wats the reason...................



Same problem for me too But for u only last week but for me from the day i got airtel i have problem. Many complaints Given but no use..fit for nothing
 
recently an executive called to inquire if I was satisfied with the service, I complained about my GPRS billing problem, frequent call drops etc, I must say the lady ws very sympathetic toward my situation.... but i continue to dream of a day i can actually switch over.....my number is 8 years old!
 
hopefully they will go 3g soon. alot of times people cant call meand oh yeah one of the new issues people are facing here are that they get cross connections on vodafone
 
I am a platinum customer of Airtel and using their services for 7 years in Bangalore. Till now there is no issues with Airtel reception, Billing etc.You remeber there is a powet cut happening in South frequently. Bangalore also not left alone.When the power cut happened, i did not get a signal at my home and it my mobile got a signal from far located tower. I compliened this issue and said the exact problem to airtel.Next day airtel called up and said, the tower which is located on my area had issues with power-backup facility ... so whenever the power goes the tower becomes un-operational. Seems they have received few complients regarding the network reception.. but soon they have restored the service. To give a surpraise they have installed a another low-frequency tower after two streets from my place to have continuous and better reception.In that case, i am proud of airtel as they have taken complients from the public which is more tech for a ordinary people and resolved asap.
