Airtel reduces 4G prices

Cost of CPE(wifi router) and 4G dongle has also reduced.


There is a new plan where you get 40GB for Rs2000 if you have CPE.

OMG. They have not added a * to indicate that these prices are without taxes and other charges. So, 2000 would cost more like 2250.

Upto 40 Mbit. Pratically upto 20-25 Mbit.

Rs. 1449 plan for 15GB on 4G sounds pretty good.

Got the demo today and it riches upto 38 to 39 Mbps. Tower distance from my location approx 450 meter.

I think anything above 10Mbps is attractive to me whenever available in Chennai. I am on BSNL and stuck around 3.2Mbps with 20Gb FUP.

Airtel 4G Coverage is too bad in Pune. and there is no 3G in MH circle. So, wherever there is no 4G coverage it will jump to 2G network. LOL. from 38Mbps to 200Kbps....

chicken and egg situation. speeds are good because there are few users congesting the network.
if they make it cheap enough, more people would jump in and network congestion would mean fucked up speeds.
