Recently checked speeds at friends house - 64kbps line...its not more than 8kBps strictlyI wil get 64kbps ul line soonI wil get 64kbps ul line soon

hi, unbelievable , 40 to 60 kb download in nighttime . plan 499. recently my friend bought new airtel BB . 5mb in 1.25min . he is luck ?i am 750 ul not more than 20 kb .

64 KBps in 2008?Absolutely useless plan/speed.Atleast go for 128 KBps. 200 hundred ruppes more is not a LOT.64 Kbps is 20th century speeds.I think anything less than 256 KBps is unacceptable in todays world.Due to stupid speeds like this India is a 3rd world country.

if we compare this to bsnl,airtel is fooling subscribers.for 500,64kbps speed!!!,is this broadband? this is ridiculous !!!! bsnl gives 2mbps speeds for rs 500(nu) and i must say you do get the speeds promised.so,BSNL ROCKS and it is giving these private isps a kick in the ass!!

Dudes Rs499 for a lame 64Kbps is totally absurd...Specially with airtel giving only 60~70% of the promised bandwidth...Go for atleast a 128Kbps plan... This is daylight robbery....:madness:

hey guys this ul-64kbps is merely a waste and according to TRAI 256kbps is considered as bb but u guys will suffer if u use it and then its ur choice

i have airtel ul 499...64kbps +100 pulses free ..no rental for modem..

i get speeds upto 10KBps....but port binding isnt implemented !!!!

The airtel UL 499 is not a official offering from airtel

if u check the airtel site the plan is:Super Value 499
Speed is 256kbps

data transfer : 25hr then rs25.hr

even the 128kbps UL scheme is missing from airtel bb plans which was there earlier


earlier there was 128kbps connection under the bb tab

I know I'll come close to killing myself with frustration if I go back to 64kbps
