Airtel nodes are really messed up tbh.. if they did something about it the ping could have been waaaaaay better. I play online games on European servers I get like -10 ping now in League of Legends and no improvements in Blade and Soul. I used to get around 170 - 180 on league of legends now I get around 160. As for Blade and soul my ping isn't stable. I get around 200 - 400 on Blade and Soul. Though I recently bought a VPN game accelerator thingy.. it's called Mudfish I get around 180 - 250 ping with it.. only works with this game though.. No improvements in League of legends with this.
As for speed eh.. I got the 16mbps plan reaches upto 20mbps sometimes. The speed isn't stable though.. that is probably because of this shitty vfiber beetel modem. And I get around 3mbps upload speed now.. It is a pretty good upgrade from what I used to get. I used to get.. 8mbps download and 500kbps - 1mbps upload. They got upto 40mbps speed plans in Jaipur.. but sadly not available in my area.
I talked to their executives today regarding this modem's issue.. I asked them to get my modem replaced with their Huawei modem as soon as it gets back in stocks. I will probably get it in the first week of May.. They said they will take this beetel modem back if I want, and won't charge for it, if the huawei isn't available by 7th May. Because I'm not waiting any longer than that.. just gonna get one online.
You didn't get your vfiber connection yet? Uh.. where do you live man?
I suggest you to not get that shitty Beetel modem.. Ask them to provide you the huawei modem.. if it's not available just wait for it to get back in stock.. or just ask them to not provide you a modem and buy a VDSL modem router online. You can get their technician to configure it.
Btw I applied for my vfiber plan on 5th April and got it activated by 9th April.
