earlier problems of alliance have been rectified to a great extent & they arte launching 1 mbps & 2mbps unlimited plans next month.

I am currently shifting from Alliance Broadband to BSNL and I have some mixed experiences with them.
First off all their "+" points:-
1.Low cost
2.Promised Speed
3.Customer Care = O.K
Then their - points :madness:
1.Sudden Disconnection
2.Port Blocking
3.Installation of additional firewalls.
4.Supports upto maximum of 640 kbps and low variety of packages.
Hence the final conclusion
If u r a big downloader or something like that don't go for these but go for BSNL or anything like that. But if you want low cost along with internet surfing (Not 24 hours) and e-mails u will have a happy time with them.

the negatives you have mentioned used to occur earlier,but these problems have been rectified to a great extent.as far the plans are concerned it is true they have low variety of plans,seems they have realised it and are launching 1mbps & 2mbps unlimited plans next month.and since its alliance so we can expect that the price of the newly launched plans would be reasonable...
