Someone might have reported the domain thinking that its a fake. :/
Anyways, waiting to see if they bring Kindle here.
According to Medianama, they have setup one fulfillment center on the outskirts of Mumbai and another one is being(or already) setup in Gurgaon.

They should have launched with mobiles at least. Books are fine. The market for optical media is quite small from what I understand.
Would be interesting to see how competitive Amazon prices are for smartphones compared to other retailers.
Also needs to see if they have an affiliate program in place for the Indian edition of Amazon

Journalist friend told me that they have had the permissions for a long time now. They just took their time while establishing the warehouses. Because without the logistics in place, there is no point in launching the store right?
