dude it is a major OS update. its freaking cheap. btw. Apple has launched rival services for: ReadabilityRead it laterinstapaperremember the milkblackberry messengerand they have gone android wrt updates and wireless syncno itunes required. this is major.

at least they are copying the best features. this update pretty much removes 80% of the issues people including me have with iOS. still not buying an iPhone.

I am proud to say that I have NEVER bought a single Apple device. Not a single device. No. In fact, the only Apple device I have, the first gen iPod Nano, which was a company gift, is still lying in some corner of the house. I hate the damn thing.

Apple just killed 1) Blackberry messenger2) Google Calendar3) whole lot of other services What we were discussing ...buy an app/book/movie once ...use it on different hardwares ....even the future hardware purchases ....they have done it with cloud !

google does something similar but not as thoroughly. google really is seen as struggling in the segment they dominate. the cloud.

Loads of people will be happy to have all these goodies from Apple ....they are COPING android ....you and i know ....90% others wont

Also ...hardware wise ...i always lliked apple ....now they are taking the best of software from here and there ....and making it UNBEATABLE !!

daily backup of everything on your phone is nice. auto sync to all your devices is very nice. Apple is doing an excellent job of locking the user to their own ecosystem. replicating capabilities of third party services... i mean who can blame them.

And confining their users within their eco system, something like what drugs do.I will never ever understand what is it about these stupid iOS devices that makes so many swoon. They are dumb, and they are overpriced.
