Ofcourse, the rumours were out long before that iPhone 5 will be phased out with 5c/5s.
3gs & 4 have also been discontinued long before? Again, not up to date with this stuff..
Ofcourse they will sell out whatever is left (to other places or whatever). I guess only manufacturing will be stopped?

Apple usually keeps the last generation model with the new one.
so basically, they would have kept iPhone 5 and offered it for free (8GB model).
what they have done this time around is... they made a cheaper iphone 5 (5c) and instead of offering it for free, they are selling it for 99 and 199 dollars.
and retaining the 8GB version of iphone 4s and offering it for free.

Yup..unless you're looking for color variant ..It makes sense to just get the 5S. Also there's gold variant If you're searching for something other than white or silver
