Sagar, I am in the exact same situation as you are. I have a SmartAX MT882, my PC is in my room and TV is in the Living. There are telephone ports at both places (fortunately). I am yet to take an IPTV connection, but I don't think I need to change my modem. I should be able to use the USB port to connent to PC and use the Ethernet port to connect to STB. I agree that the CAT5 cable running all across the house looks awkward, but I am planning to get an electrician to run the CAT5 cable through one of the concealed electrical pipes (the same one which is used for the telephone cables should be fine). This might require some additional length of CAT5 cable though.
