Quickheal is actually a rebadged kaspersky engine with a very bad frontend and slow operation , KIS 2009 also is resource heavy , Bitdefender is okay but makes the bootup slowPanda is a also a very good AV

Avira Antivir is good too. It has the best detection rates among all and uses very low resources. It was also voted as Product of the Year by AV-Comparatives

The free ones are decent enough , if you use a good firewall like comodo .
