Hi all,Well, i am having an AIRTEL DSL 256 Unlimited and also a HATHWAY CABLE 256 Unlimited. both costing Rs.1,000/- + vat!Now, Hathway i am using from past 2.5 years, and have never had problems with them, a lil up n down happens with any provider once in a while. But i am having problems , lots of it, with Airtel, and their customer care dept is s$#%! they overcharge me right from the day they installed the connection uptil 8 months!!! i didnt pay a single bill as i kept requesting them for a corrected bill evertyime they called up and their reactions wud be like "Oh! so sorry sir. Sir i will get it corrected and send u new bill in x workign days definately"! and same thing for 8 months till they disconnected my service. I then had to literally shout at their managers in their office in splendid Towers, Begumpet. and finally a stupid manager comes and tries to solve it. He gets the connection active, and promises to send rectified bill for the 8 months in a few days, and after 3 months no response. I still didnt pay a single bill of theirs, and finally they again deactivate my connection. I again go and shout at their idiotic managers, and then one takes the responsibility and FINALLY settle my bill with some funny waviers and whatnots. I had to actually calculate on a white paper as to how much i am due to them and then settle it! now its okie.But from day one, i have problem with the connection too! after browsing for around 15-30 mins, the connection goes dead...no data transfer takes place. i disconnect and reconnect, then all normal! in this process i am never able to download some big file if i am not in front of the comp!make ur choice!
