Best deal on HTC One in India?

Phones go on sale in India days before they are officially launched. And then there are always imported units.
HTC One is now expected to launch next month. Apparently HTC is struggling to get components for the hyped UltraPixel camera on the device hence the shortage hence the delay.
HTC has fucked up big time with the timing of One. Samsung might end up launching S4 sooner in the Indian market.

frankly speaking few people would have bought it even if it had launched before s4 in india.
the 4mp camera does not help the cause either. people do not care if it has ultrapixels or whatever. it has a 4mp camera which is lol inferior to phones priced 10K in the indian market today.

The mindset of most is that more pixels make better pics. Hell, even I had that once and had bought a 15 MP camera. Later I realized that the 3x optical zoom sucked.The average guy won't know the difference between a 4MP camera and a 4MP Ultrapixel camera. And the 41MP PureView didn't be super successful plainly because of Symbian.

It would have been if it was powered with Android platform. My point was largely focused on One and S4. Samsung already has the brand advantage. And HTC would lose a few customers definitely when they compare the specifications of the phone and notice a 4mp unit listed in its column.Also, from what I hear, HTC's ultrapixel technology is not as magical as they claim to be. Nokia did a much better job with PureView on 808. Hopefully Nokia Lumia EOS is an actual phone.
