look for one in your router backend. in any case, it would be futile as they are not going to accept the values from your end. 8GB is way too much data (though might not be much on speeds you might have) so either the company is just cheating (like you said) or your account is being misused
I was down with fever so I never opened my pc today. Not even using the router since last month since I was not a home and I wanted to see if act is fucking me over. This is bullshit! 8gb in one day ?? How can It be possible if I never even switched on my pc.

Looks like my Asus rt n12lx lacks bandwidth management. Limited the speed on router to 1mbps and monitoring the bandwidth on pc with different softwares including bitmeter OS. Lets see how it goes.
