Best value for money Excitel Broadband plan?

Just noticed that my subscription ends this month. Was wondering which is the best value plan from Excitel.

From what I saw from their plan pages... 6+3 200mbps/300mbps offers the best value. Feedback?

Oh, on the mobile app they show cost per month for each of the plans. I suppose 12 month plan is cheaper than 6+3.

They seem to have fixed the plans on the website. But in app they still have duplicate plans where there is massive price difference lol.

So the cost per month of 12 month long plans are...

100mbps: Rs. 470
200mbps: Rs. 530
300mbps: Rs. 590

Such a messed up decision to make. Even with so many devices at home, I am sure 100mbps would be fine. But 120 per month is not that much so probably would get the 12 month plan.

Doesn't look like Excitel has plans to introduce gigabit plans it seems. Not that I would have any use for that.

You can make decision according to your budget ? IMO The speed doesnt make much of difference in real life , except when youre downloading/testing speeds . Whats your use case .... If youre a person who does a lot of streaming and dont download/upload stuff it doesnt make difference as 4K streaming works like charm without buffer even on 100Mbps plan .
Let's say you want to game , the real speed is only the ping and it doesnt change no matter if youre even on 1Gbps plan .
ping tells the real speed in the way that it tells the time taken by x bit to reach. Whereas netspeed tells the amount of x bits that can reach per second.

I renew this every 4 months coz it's VFM and to be safe, since you never know when the LCO services go shit.

that seems logical. but it has worked fine for long enough for me to take a chance for the third time this year. have paid for 9 month plan twice now iirc.

Excitel broadband is luring with tempting offers...use your own jurisprudence, look out for complaints posted and reviews posted on the web before deciding to take a new connection...good luck.

Ended up getting the 300mbps yearly plan.

Any visible speed/ latency/ quality of service... you get on 300mbps plan...

I have paid for 12months 100mbps after using 9months plan with some issues.. were usually sorted out...

On some downloads I reach 25MBps. Apart from that nothing.

that time of the year again. plan expires in around 30 days. what is the best plan to go for now lol. i am not sure if 300/400mbps even makes sense considering i rarely get 250mbps during day time. so was wondering if i should just get 200mbps yearly plan this time around.
