So after following up with BSNL since the past few months to replace my backup BSNL ADSL line to FTTH, the SDE finally replied that they are in the process of appointing a franchisee partner (VK Internet Services) in my area for Bharat Fiber connection. Fast forward to last Saturday, the installation guys turned up and the connection was installed and activated on the same day. The franchisee partners are not new to the business and they also provide their own connection (their upstream partners are Softcall) but they do not have a presence in my area.
Apparently I am their first Bharat Fiber customer so they struggled a bit to configure the ONT (Syrotech SY-GPON-1110-WDONT). I opted for the '849 Fibro 600GB/Month CUL' plan as the popular '799 Fibre Value' isn't available in my circle. Speed is also quite decent. I'm just happy to see that upload speed (ADSL upload speed is capped at 512Kbps which was a big hindrance for me for my WFH activities).
Connection is stable. Following are the PON statistics, which according to @Vedant is fine.
They were still not able to get the voice activated as I see all the key settings are not entered in the ONT yet. I suppose it is also not activated from BSNL's side as when I dial the number that is allotted to me, it says 'This number does not exist'. I guess hopefully today or tomorrow it might be done.
