Big basket membership worth it?

Prices seem to vary based on product and also sometimes the same product is cheaper in one place as compared to another. That is why I said cannot suggest any one based on price alone. Sometimes, its also the availability of a particular product itself. For example, there are some items which are available only in Flipkart or Amazon Pantry & similarly there are some brands or specific product within a brand is available in only one of the places.

Grofers is more like local kirana shop, limited items at cheap price.
Bigbasket is like grocery store in mall, exotic veggies, imported stuff, wide range, little costlier but you can get a good deal if you visit regularly and know how to select.

Got the membership since I will basically get it back as cashback.

They auto renewed my membership and charged it to my wallet , my wallet had no balance so it went in minus.

Yea that's how their system works if you don't cancel the membership. I think cc should be able to reverse it or you can place 1 order for 3 months and get it as cashback.
