DIR-X6060 D-link worth it in 2023?

There's a deal on flipkart and X6060 is available at 10k but the issue is according to D-Link official End of Life list this router will stop receiving any help from them after 15 january 2024 (just 3 months from now)

So is it worth it? it has wifi6 and the specs looks strong like 1GB Ram, 8 antennas..

i would not buy a router that is not going to be supported by the company and does not have an open source firmware available already. i mean budget routers do not really get much focus, but at least there is some hope that if there is a massive vulnerability in firmware, it might get patched.

For an EOL device, won't recommend, but at this price you won't really find anything similar. (At least in terms of Wireless Speeds)
The thing I did not understand is, why do you need such a high-end router? Unless you own a multi-gig internet. Then you are just wasting your money.

If you need it, buy it. Not sure if it would receive custom firmware. The flash is only 128MB. Also, 2.5G port on WAN but not on LAN.

@Sushubh Yeah that's what im overthinking about like what if there's some bug related to just anything connection, or wifi functions. they wont fix it

@Lolita_Magnum the offer is just lucrative (I'm happy with archer c6), also if you remember archer c6 was having some issues with 300mbps onebroadband plan so that's why im trying to full proof things atleast for a gigabit setup

@sloj im pretty sure wont get custom firmware, even finding for D-Link firmware since afternoon and couldnt get it

@Lolita_Magnum if not this then maybe in future i'll get microtik hex board with sfp so atleast wired setup will be gigabit and i can use C6 or different routers as AP

this does not look like a future proof model with the way wifi tech is improving over the last year or so. so does not make sense to spend a lot of money now hoping to make use of its capabilities 2-3 years down the line. as for me, i doubt i would need anything better than a cheapo archer c6 for 2-3 years easy. for a normal household like mine, there is very little incentive to aim for more than 300-400mbps speeds on wireless.
