BlackBerry Z10 likely to launch in India for Rs.39000 on February 24th

Here is some exclusive news regarding the launch of the upcoming BlackBerry Z10 handset from RIM BlackBerry. FoneArena has learnt from reliable sources that the first BlackBerry 10 handset is going to launched here in India as soon as February 24th. And the price will be similar to the Z10′s no-contract price in UK and other markets at around Rs.39000.

February 24th is actually a Sunday, so the actual launch might happen on the 25th

That’s great but the CEO didn’t announce any concrete numbers, so while the BlackBerry Z10 launch was record-breaking by BlackBerry standards, we don’t know how it compares to launches of competing devices.
The company will be releasing information on its quarterly performance at the end of March, which should give us some more concrete numbers.

Can anyone seriously expect the launch sales to match up with Galaxy, Nexus & iPhone? It amuses me that people say its not big by comparing with them. At best , even Blackberry would be looking to beat Win8 & other moderate Android launches like of the Sony Xperia, LG Optimus etc
