Welcome to the pandora's box of JioFiber bridge mode.
No it still doesn't work. I had sent an email to Jio CC a week back and they refused that bridge mode works, and they outrightly denied about having any knowledge of VLAN configuration.
It is what it is.
I am getting rid of JioFiber next month when my 3 months of advance payment end.
Hmm. The local ISP here(Netplus), gives ZTE-F660 and pretty sure I've seen a bridge mode option in that router. May be that Airtel is blocking Bridge-mode like Jio too.
My neighbour recently got Airtel, his only demand was he wants to use his own ONU, initially the technician said no, but later he only asked for the MAC ID of the ONU he's buying, and the connection just worked.
The ONU was a one incoming fiber port and one outgoing rj45 port, that's it. He set up Asusrouter with it, added his pppoe creds and that's all.
The technician was really friendly and knowledgeable, so I can't say if you will get the same experience.
