BSNL 3G with Huawei E1762, poor surfing and frequent fluctuations

I might sound odd but i am experiencing a better speed than it was before. disconnections are not frequent and the speed is steady 3- 3.6 mbps. and again it only a personal experience and only at my place. speeds throughout coimbatore are good but for frequent disconnections that users report. hope bsnl rectifies this as well.

hi dushie..... i have checked several times, during day night and also by chnging locations i.e on roof and in other rooms of my house. but no improvement. now when i see mobile partner ..where bsnl signal shows there is a frequent change in that sometimes it shows... EDGE, WCDMA, HSDPA....It keeps on changing its not permanent. wow....is it real dear 57.74 mbps...which network..??thnks for help.

Please use the following settings in mobile partner ; -In Mobile Partner, -> Goto Options.-> Network-> In the network type select WCDMA only and apply.Also do a manual network search in registration mode and see what all options are available, it will also show you the network where you are registered to, that will tell you if its 2G or 3G.
