Bsnl 900UL plan problem modem utstarcomm

Hi, I am in the 900 UL plan.. the modem given to me is UTstarcom wa3002 . i have been using dataone connection for the past 6 months.. i had no problems till last weeek.. i used to download at night .. on nov 30 asusual i put a download task and went to sleep.. when i wokeup the next day i saw that the download speed is 0 kbps and upload also 0 kbps.. i tried to check wether other websites are opening but no site was going.. but the adsl light was glowing all the system is showing lan connected .i restarted the computer but still the same problem persists ..i went to the ip 192.168.1.1 and checked wether my password and id is correct ,but they were all correct .. i reset the modem ..i also gave a sysrestart using ht efactory default settings but still no solution.. after restarting using factory default settings the Userid an password changed to test ,test .. i removed it and gave my dataone id and password ..but still the problem is not solved.. in diagnostics ping yahoo test is failing .. the rest of hte test is passed. so my problem is the internet is shown connected in computer ,the adsl light is glowing.. but i cant open any site nor download anything its been like this for the past 3 days.can anyone please help
 
Your modem must have gone out of order. Exchange it .Or if you can check the settings open 192.168.1.1/main.html. and under Advanced check Diagnostics. Id admin Password utstar.In your computer start run type cmd type ipconfig/all to locate the fault.
