I was hoping to do it with hardware. The problem is with Reliance dialer. Not sure if that would be doable.

Maybe they didn't coz it again shows bridge in Internet section not pppoe.

Router is dialing or modem?

Not fixed. I mean I configured the router after resetting it. Entered username and password for PPPoE. Put the values at 0/35. As mentioned here:
How to configure third party modem for BSNL Broadband? - BSNL Broadband - India Broadband Forum

It still shows Bridged Mode in the above screenshot. Though the status shows PPPoE.
