plz tell me to whom i should apply for a plan change

I suggest calling the Broadband Customer Care and notifying them about the plan change. You will be provided a Service order number. Make a note of it and wait for 24 -48 hours. I then would advise you to visit your local telephone exchange and directly approach the Junior Executive Engineer to change the plan in your presence. All this would be in a Jiffy.

The reason for the 24-48 Hour gap is synchronous for the exchange being aware of your intended plan change.

So there you are:)

Finally applied for a plan chane to home 125..how to check whether my plan has been changed or not..

I tried the site http://bbservice.bsnl.in

N select my orders but there was nothing new...is the process correct what i was doing

How long will it take to change to a new plan. and what the process going behind bsnl about this

It will take some time to appear. When plan is changed, you will find status as " provisioned " also check the effective date. You can also try data.bsnl.inIt is not wise to believe the portal. Talk to a technical person (not customer care) and confirm the plan change.

friends please tell me i cannot see home 125 as provisioned till now neither i cannot see my july usage why is it so..

----------

friends i cannot neither see for provision for my home 125 from 500 plan till now...i applied it on 31st of june....i tried the site bbservice under my orders....why is it so...

Friends i went to the exchange and that bsnl guy told me my home 125 plan had been effective from 1st of july itself...but i could not see any change in the my orders neither in my usage no change remains itself in my home 500..when will it be provisioned ..or please do comment on this

Do not believe blank words, unless your account show provisioned, it is not activated. Even after you find it provisioned, check with a technical person in BSNL and confirm.

he told me its effective but i want to know something any difference between effective and provisioned

@jssrk
BSNL - Broadband Account Management is working. Checked just now.

Check your usage. Unbilled july 2009 ( should show "Provisioned ")
Use 14digit portal ID and password.

If on top summary LAST column
Chargeable units Less ( free NU)
exceeds 150 MB you will be charged for excess usage.
Assuming you are still on Home 500, and downloading
heavily,
will result in a big bill.
You have asked for change from
Home 500 to Home 125 and
stick to 150 MB free limit. this month.

Wait till you see Home - 150 provisioned and check the effective date.

----------

You might have now understood what was in stock for you if you surrendered the connection and try to get it back after 1 year.

there is neither effective nor provision. not even home 125 is shown here

Order Type New
Plan Name Home 500
Order Status Provisioned

its what it is showing now

----------

in my todays usage i didnt get charged for my happy hours downloads...how is it so then..plan is not even effective yet i think
