all the new plans are mainly for Business Users than Home Users. There was no plan in business plan less than 9000Rs to download 50GB with 2mbps or above.. Now they have got 2799 Plan with 50GB and 8mbps speed. First two months, the limit is double (100GB) [according to Bangaloretelecom.com] and that is the reason we have taken one connection. They are giving 6~8Mbps throughput most of the time... New Unlimited Plans are having speed limit after 25/50GBs ..[256kbps]. I think lot of business people get advantage on it .

Has anybody switched to the 2799 plan yet? I'm currently using the Home 1800 plan and I need the speed boost and the limit increase. I know there is no NU in 2799, but I doubt my usage will cross 50GB.My concern is that they don't mention a minimum speed. It could be way down at 512kbps or perhaps even lower? My current plan is 512-2Mbps and I mostly get 2Mbps all the time.Thoughts?

I was just browsing through this thread..... And I realise these plan are just for Business tarrif...I was really shocked when I had the glimpse of first page of this thread.... Anyways I have my 500 night unlimited plan working and I really love it..

hi guys i am using home plan 500 where i am getting night unlimited where i can download any amount in the night....now i am thinking of converting to unlimited planthe bsnl has introduce something called fair usage policy....what is this exactly ?is there a limit for downloading even for the unlimited plan ?

BSNL has no FUP on Unlimited plans. They do have data limit on some Combo-UL plans after which speeds drop to 256kbps.
