what about the 750 ul and 1350 ul plans?.........i have made the annual payement will they discountinue the plan and refund my money???

i m planning for evdo now as they are not with fair use and it is 0-3 mbps

I have an EVDO in Cochin. It used to be great. Rarely less than 500 kbps and often running well above 1mpbs. Now I would be lucky to touch 250 kbps. Usually it is below 100 even if the signal is decent. They tell me that there are a lot of new connections and that I cannot expect to get anything better than dial-up. After 3 months hoping that they would improve, it has only gotten worse. So I am discontinuing the service from this month. Perhaps it is only a problem with the Cochin circle, but please do check with other users in your circle before subscribing. One good thing, it rarely goes down.

Plans like BB 500 instead of Home 500, and so on.

I never asked about any tariff change, and JTO did not inform me of any tariff change either. The issue for me is night unlimited and new usage limit which will drastically restrict the amount of data we can transfer from our connection, not tariff. I don't know any more details, but it is clear to me something is cooking in the background. Let us wait and see what they announce officially (and when).

In the meantime, I am watching these three places like a hawk:

[*]This forum.
[*]BSNL Broadband Tariff.
[*]Dataone portal.
[/list]

Funny!! yesterday night itself I posted a reply to this thread, but it seemed that it got *nicked...So this is the second time I am posting here..
Please don't relay on JTO's words on this matter..he may be one of the early bird happened to be I.T.I/polytechnic diploma holder but never went to college..and belong to old school.. there are another section of JTO who are recently hired,BE graduates younger generation, and who are behind the technological back bane of BSNL current BB services..
I've posted in another thread here

What they did is change the name of 'HOME' in to 'BB' so the business users can use that plans too..there is no way BSNL can introduce the FUP in the existing plans, legally this is not possible, but maximum they can close the connections, from the BBusers data, the HOME 500night UL and Home750UL consists 60% of Total BB users group. So no service providers can make 'haragiri'..I am yet to receipt of solid orders about the new plans when I receive it I posted it
with regards,
vaithy
