U said Right Mr.Vaithy!!!

This is what happened during the Independence day celebrations and all the forum members expected a lot from BSNL. But nothing happened.....!! So better don't expect anything from BSNL until it comes out with a new service plans.

Regarding the JTO's, as said by Mr.Vaithy they are mostly from ITI or polytechnic and only at some main RSU's BE graduated JTO's are appointed. I one wants any info from BSNL Chennai better write to Chennai Telephones Broadband ops. at the following mail address:

where is this access service page? give me the link pls.

Today I can't see Combo599 and Combo749 and many other new plans on access service in the portal page. Earlier it was there.Only speed combo1111 and 8mbps combo2799 are present. Maybe they are rethinking.

there is no way BSNL can introduce the Fair Usage Policy in the existing plans, legally this is not possible, but maximum they can close the connections
Good to hear this, but isn't it possible to modify these plans by giving sufficient advance notice to customers?
BSNL has a big advantage in NU and UL plans, it would be a bad strategy to throw it away.

Should be possible, with some advance notice.
If so, Airtel and co will be getting ready to cope with a horde of new customers rushing in.

No they will actually bring FUP more harsher as they now made sure people can't go for BSNL :p Remember Airtel brought FUP long before BSNL well aware of loosing customers.

bsnl's limits are much worse compared to airtel if they are indeed implemented on all customers. if they are only applicable on new customers, the customer cannot really blame the company.

actually i would be happy to subscribe to a Fair Usage Policy UL plan with 2 mbps til 100 gb then back to 512kbps after that for Rs 3000 per month or less :D

that is the problem with bsnl. they drop you down to 256kbps. i guess if it was not for TRAI, they would drop you down to 64kbps.
