Hi all, I have recently got BSNL Broadband with DNA A-211 wireless router.I am trying to create a bridge connection which I can use with my laptop over wireless. Also, I want the same laptop to be connected with the ethernet card for downloads during the free hours. Can anyone help me in creating a bridge connection that will work over wireless, and also a wired connection.I am able to setup a wired connection (LAN), but when I set up a PPPoE connection for wireless, the LAN connection stops working. Also I am confused about how to create a dial-up connection that will accept the User ID and Password after we have set the router for Bridge connection. Will I be able to create a LAN broadband connection that will work with the ethernet card after I set up the router for a bridge connection? One more question, since it's a new connection, is it possible for me to return this router to BSNL and purchase a D-Link ADSL router? Does BSNL have such a policy? How is the performance of DNA A-211 router? One more question... I downloaded using torrent during the free hours (with a wired connection). After analyzing the usage report I realized that the connection dropped 6-7 times and my connection automatically redialed the connection. Is is because of the router? Shall I make a complaint or is it common with BSNL?

well in bridged connection , only one connection ( wired or wireless ) would work simultaneously..but let me tell you that when downloading over the internet the speed will remain the same when downloading via LAN or WLAN .. so dont bother connecting via LAN.. just stick to WLAN

i dont think BSNL would take back the router for a refund if you have purchased it..

that could be because of your connection.. post output of SNR from the router statistics ( http://192.168.1.1 ) under STATUS
