BSNL Broadband Low SNR /discconects in nights

Hey I am a BSNL home Unlimited 750 user since 2006 and on june 1st i canceled my bsnl connection and applied for beam telecom but due to issues with local provider they were not able provide my connection ....so again in the same week i applied for home Unlimited 750 ( new connection ) ...i asked them only to give my username and password since i already have modem ( beetel 220BX1 and D-Link 502T) ..they called me after a week and gave my username and password and i configured it with my beetel 220BX1 modem i noticed internet is working fine during day time but in the nights it is very slow , disconnects frequentlymy day time SNR varies from 20dB to 26dBnight time SNR: varies from 1dB to 8dB very low i gave complaint to check my line , they never came to my place but when i checked the status of my complaint in my online account selfcare.sdc.bsnl.co.in the status shows closednot able to figure out whats wrong ..is it coz of the modem? ...i tried both beetel 220BX1 and dlink 502T and same problem low SNR in nights , i tried with different modulations G.Dmt, ADSL etc too, no luckalso the telephone junction box near my house is not closed , its open i can see all cables coming out .......can that be one of the factor ? ..........and also the cable from the junction box to my place has 2 joints in between (i mean cable got cut twice long back so instead of laying a new cable the lineman jointed it like a patch work) ...and when i tell him that it will impact on my dsl speed, he wouldnt understand and says phone line is working fine so should my internet is there a technical support for bsnl( not customer support) someone who understands SNR, Attenuation etcnow i dont know whom to complaint, my last try is to apply for a new modem and ask bsnl guy to come and install and configure it ... hoping some tech guy who comes to install notices my line near my junction box gets it fixed
 
if ur dsl is working fine...i doesnt break then dont worry for ur speed...bsnl suks now in thsese days..dont go for SNR i have 6 to 10 alwayz n alwayz...it never goes up..n one of my freind it is like 40 ...we are gettin same speed...nothin diff in nit...
n on other hand...if it slows down..its bsnl server prob not bsnl DSL cable or modem problem..if dsl is ok ur connected to server dats it...

my dsl works fine only during day time ....its very unstable in the nights i must say unusable
 
Romit is right, asked them to switch or change the port at the exchange and the issue will get resolved, last year i had a similar issue and it got fixed after changing the port from the exchange though it took 12 to 18 hours and follow ups to get the same completed.
 
Im with 1350 UL Combo..It gives 2mbps all throughout the day..But at late nights, it becomes 400kbps or so..What can be the reason ??any solution ?
 
okie...will request for change of DSLAM port tomm....can i request for change DSLAM from selfcare.sdc.banl.co.in portal ??also i noticed ...when i tried different modulation's in modem ...adsl sync is stable when i select adsl2 instead of adsl2+ and G.Dmt ....but on the forum i read that G.Dmt is most preferred for stable connection ...but when i select G.Dmt or adsl2+ i dont get sync in the nights ...always disconnects in the nights ...as of now im on adsl2 modulation which is stable but for home UL 750 im getting speeds between 30-53kbps so something to fixed at the server side only right ??

any solution ?

do not disconnect when you get good speed.
you may remain in the same gateway.
but may be sharing with others the connection.
 
i hav te same pblm too...at day time my net connectiopn works fine..but at night maybe from 12am to 6am or something..my dsl gets cut.its unstable..and iam not able to use net............i am using 500 combo plan..and i have been using net from may 2008.?what can i do?i already complained.and they did not respond at all...i went to the exchange and they said they cant do anything about this problem..and such a case is the first time they have ever heard of.?and........this problem cant be resolved...............
