Hey I am a BSNL home Unlimited 750 user since 2006 and on june 1st i canceled my bsnl connection and applied for beam telecom but due to issues with local provider they were not able provide my connection ....so again in the same week i applied for home Unlimited 750 ( new connection ) ...i asked them only to give my username and password since i already have modem ( beetel 220BX1 and D-Link 502T) ..they called me after a week and gave my username and password and i configured it with my beetel 220BX1 modem i noticed internet is working fine during day time but in the nights it is very slow , disconnects frequentlymy day time SNR varies from 20dB to 26dBnight time SNR: varies from 1dB to 8dB very low i gave complaint to check my line , they never came to my place but when i checked the status of my complaint in my online account selfcare.sdc.bsnl.co.in the status shows closednot able to figure out whats wrong ..is it coz of the modem? ...i tried both beetel 220BX1 and dlink 502T and same problem low SNR in nights , i tried with different modulations G.Dmt, ADSL etc too, no luckalso the telephone junction box near my house is not closed , its open i can see all cables coming out .......can that be one of the factor ? ..........and also the cable from the junction box to my place has 2 joints in between (i mean cable got cut twice long back so instead of laying a new cable the lineman jointed it like a patch work) ...and when i tell him that it will impact on my dsl speed, he wouldnt understand and says phone line is working fine so should my internet is there a technical support for bsnl( not customer support) someone who understands SNR, Attenuation etcnow i dont know whom to complaint, my last try is to apply for a new modem and ask bsnl guy to come and install and configure it ... hoping some tech guy who comes to install notices my line near my junction box gets it fixed
