Im on the same 1350 UL Combo Plan now and after complaning for 4 days to BSNL, CC , Sales dude and all the higher officials, finally I have got it right.

Also, the download speed im getting now is 250KB/sec. So, happy now. 5 days of wastage of time and money has made it.

ever since my bandwidth has been upgraded - I never reached the 2MBps peak. For me everytime it's 1.25 - 1.60 MBps max.Is this normal friends?

Yes, thats perfectly normal..BSNL assigns that as average for all the 2mbps users.I had 4500 plan also, and in that also, it comes 1.7MBps.And had Home 1800, it had also 1.7MBps.Now, I have 1350UL , it also has 1.7MBps. But after having some hard talks with the BSNl dudes and threatening them, Im getting this 2MBps since morning..

Ok cool - thanks for the info.I honestly don't want to get into any further talks with them [BSNL] - I had to email the GM of broadband to get my internet restored after it was off for 4 days during the NIB 1 to NIB 2 migration.

Some info that might help others here.Even I had the same issue. My ul 1350 wasn't upgraded to ulf 1350. I made a couple of calls(in this case couple means, 3 days worth of calls) to all sort of bsnl officials. Finally on the 4th day my internet stopped working. On checking the modem it showed me authentication failure, which made me suspect they are migrating my user_id details. On contacting a family friend in bsnl, I came to know that my request is in process and the following day I was finally migrated to ulf 1350 and my ip is now in the 117.xxx.xxx.xxx range.Another thing I noticed is that I am getting a bandwidth of 1mbps consistent, instead of 2mbps. Maybe because it is month end and I have crossed the 15gb limit already. I tried checking my records to check if i have crossed the 15gb limit, but since I have been given a new user_id I can't find any data records. I will wait for another 3 days(july 1st) to see if I get 2mbps, after which I will take it up with the bsnl guys.

After your line was moved to NIB II - you must have received a set of new user ID and pwds, for both the BB service as well as the portal. Use the portal login details to log into BSNL Portal and check your usage details. I tried and fortunately it works.

I just checked again now.Went to home page - > postpaid sevices -> broadband -> usage_month_june. It shows me records but only from 28th june(the day i was transferred to ulf1350) onwards. I am unable to check my usage for june 1st to June 27th. And I am unable to log in through the other dataone.in usage site using my old user_name/password which I used to do previously. They must have deleted my old user_name/password.My bandwidth is still like 1mbps and it is consistent. Have another day for July. Will wait till tomorrow and recheck the bandwidth.

A strange thing that's happening with my DataOne broadband - ever since my connection was upgraded to NIB 2, I am having frequent disconnection problems.I have never had such frequent disconnection problems with my DataOne before, but now it's a very frequent thing.Anyone else experiencing the same? and any possible remedies for it except for notifying the BSNL officials which I already did. My line SNR and attenuation rates seem okay though
