Well thats what they told me. They even logged a second complaint themselves with detailed description. Would post a screenshot once i'm on pc.So in that blog they say old customers would continue getting the old benefit and new customers would not get the old plan right?

It is a bit confusing. Anyway, let me also try logging a complaint tomorrow and see.

That was Chrome. I just managed to open the website in Firefox itself by User Agent trick. No idea why it's not working on Chrome in which it used to work fine.

Here's the screenshot.

I was surprised seeing the bill today. I looked up the plans in BSNL bangalore website and all of them said free calls are to BSNL only.I checked my Dec bill (for Nov month), it did say that the free calls will be restricted to BSNL only wef 1.1.2013.If the complaint works, i would like to do as well.Telling all family members to use mobile and locked the landline.

Yup. Once you mentioned it, I went to the online portal and checked (I dont get physical bills & its in my dad's name, so he gets the email). It does mention there that effective 1/1/2013 its free within network. Guess, we cant really blame them. But most people as obvious are surprised because they dont expect such changes to happen with just a subtle note on the side.

I'm glad to be the 750 Plan with no free calls and extra landline rent. All my calls are primarily made over a BSNL cellphone only. The DSL telephone no has been given only to a few select family members and as such no freak calls come on it. It hasn't beenregistered with any service providers such as banks etc.All in all not affected.
