BSNL Broadband Plan Change: Free calls only within BSNL network now

Susubh, you have blanked the name and address and account details from the BSNL bill, but phone no is
still visible.

Perhaps you forgot to blank that out as well. One can easily find out your snail mail address using the
BSNL online directory.

lol. i usually do not bother hiding anything. i was just trying to hide my account number or something like that. as for my address, i think it is already very accessible online.

I dont think BSNL has increased the charges for Landline. So how our Broadband Phones are different from landlines and why should we pay extraIsnt this an unfair trade practice?At least we people should lodge a protest complain to Nodal Officers. Thats the least we can do

Hey guys,I also need some help reg. the same issue.I have taken BB 900 ULD COMBO ANNUAL plan on 01 Sep 2012.As per the plan I should get 400 calls free per month, but as BSNL had revised the plan from 01 Jan 2012, making 400 calls free only within BSNL n/w , I have been charged for the month of Jan 13.So as I have taken annual plan, shouldn't the old rates i.e "400 calls free across all networks" should at least be applicable throughout the year (till 31 Aug 2013). Please let me know your opinion what could be done in my case.

This is one reason I avoided paying annually. Once your money is paid it's difficult getting service from BSNL.My sister who is on the same plan prepaid annually to save 2 months rent.. She had a tough time getting arewiring done when a line fault gave shitty speeds.OTOH I get excellent service from BSNL (albeit there have been very few downtimes over the last 7 years thatI've had the connection)Try getting a refund from any government body and then you'll know. You can always discontinue or change yourplan in case you are on a monthly plan.

Talked with AO of BSNL office and it was confirmed that all the free calls in combo BB plan is 'within network only' that means now BSNL BB is not cheap anymore ..!!! but the sad side is it was not informed to customers neither on website..!!!

I am not been charged atleast not in the bill on january. And i have checked the bill of december it do not have any notice of free call only in BSNL network.

Okay so Bill generated on 1st March also have discounted calls that were made out of BSNL network. And my monthly rental has not been increased as well.
