BSNL Broadband: Very low Speed

Is there any disturbance in the line? Is the quality clarity clear in the telephone instrument?
The quality of the line seems fine to me ...

ok this might help1. update ie explorer and get tune-up utilities 20072.ur ping is high cause there are background processes get a good virus and spyware removal tool(i suggest spybot search and destroy and avg)3.still low speed? it isnt u or ur location..its the server load,u can't do anthing about it except try again when the server load is lessps. BSNL is piece of shit to me,they maybe ripping u offthanks

I'm using BSNL Broadband for past 3 years and it works perfect for me with max speed.Sometimes they temporarily stop their service for few hours of maintenance without notice. It is the only thing that I hate. Other than that everything goes smooth.I think the problem may be with your system. I do experienced slow speed at times. It is not because of BSNL but my system. It is because of malware, no matter how strong is your security settings Windows PC gets affected and that too you are using Vista which is more vulnerable than XP.Whenever I experience slow speed I will try browsing using my Ubuntu Linux OS (I have installed Ubuntu as dual with my XP). If I still get the problem then I will decide that there is a temporary problem with BSNL server else the problem is with my system. I will backup important data and will format the system and my net speed will again become max.So, my suggestion is that you install any Linux OS as dual with your Vista. Check the download speed in the Linux OS. If you still get the same speed then the problem is with the BSNL you should call them.

stops working???hmm try opening WAN miniport thingyit works for meif u dont want to do thatwhen ur modem does not work disconnect all wires and keep it away for a few min try again..still aint working??reset it using a pen or pencil whatever
