BSNL Broadband's new revolutionary (lol) broadband plans with minimum 2mbps speeds (lol)

If you are looking for new broadband connection please don't put bsnl I'm using it from last 50 days dsl is not stablestable, no service waste of money. Really upset with bsnl

@Buddu pradeep

Give it some time, i too faced 3-4 downtimes and poor service in the line for 2-3 months. Then it got better, but i am planning to switch to Airtel now (after 1 year with BSNL)

The name is perfect for making such statements. Moreover the fellow posted in wrong thread absolutely off topic.

Anyway coming to the topic I think you could draw out like 6-7GBs out of that 2 Mbps 1 GB crap if you do.

As much as R.S. Prasad's going to get stick the CMD, BSNL will get the same treatment come Oct 1. LOL @ “We have increased the internet speed four times …we have ensured 2 Mbps is available at last mile, which is the customer premises starting October 1”.
Can anyone explain what this exactly means.. Is this minister even aware of what he is speaking.

BSNL BB plan cycle starts by date 1 for everyone, afaik.. So if they can give minimum 2Mbps to each and every one on day 1, they definitely have capacity to provide 2Mbps without FUP... But they need NOT give 2Mbps without FUP for say < 1000Rs plans... Why don't they give min 2Mbps post FUP on plans > Rs1000 or even Rs1500 and call other 675 like plans as narrowband plans?

With such stupid plans and fake advertisements, BSNL will get more LL surrender requests, imho.. Sorry to say, this minister uncle is more stup!d than he looks...

This Telecom Minister used to make Big Halla Gulla about incompetence of UPA. Now people are witnessing his own incompetence. What has telecom ministry done in last year? Nothing! BSNL/MTNL is going down and down. Minimum Broadband Speed is stuck at 512 Kbps. Mobile internet Data plans continue to be expensive. Mobile Bills are going up and up. Call drops. Limited connectivity because of shortage of spectrum. India's telecom policy is in mess.

And our telecom minister proudly says Broadband in India has been redefined (with 1 GB FUP plans)
