BSNL COnnection related problem

HaiDOnt know is this the right section and right way pls excuse me I have a net related problemI am using BSNL Broadband 750 UL planOS Windows 7My problem is my downloads are working fine but i cant browse .I ma using IDM for downloads and my primary Browser is opera 11.01 (i have also tried firefox, chrome and IE But still dont work)I can browse sometimes but sometimes it just gives me errorI called to BSNL and he told me to call the local BSNL exchange .i called them and told them . They repaired it and the net works fine after 2-3 days the same problem happens again. Again i call them they do something and hte net is fine for another 2-3 days.then it again goes down (all these times the downloads arent affected)I tried reinstalling the OS and the softwares (OS is genuine and the softwares were downloaded again)I am using WA3002G4 Modem I replaced the cables also . I live in KERALAANd i cant browse or download at nights most of the days Pls tell me what can i do in this issue .Shall i continue calling the BSNL every 2-3 days or are there any methods to solve this completely.Pls help and let me know if any more info is neededThanksAnil Kumar
 
1. Try the following DNS values and check.208.67.222.222, 8.8.8.82. Start > Run > cmd > ipconfig/flushdns3. Reboot your modem and check.4. If nothing works, reset the modem and reconfigure it.5. If still the problem persists, try talking to the SDE. May be some problem with the port at the exchange.

I have done like u have said i have changed the dns
currently its working fine but as i said earlier i called them today so the net will work fine for 2-3 days After that only i could confirm if this worked
anyways thanks for the quick help

4)BTW i know how to reset the modem but i dont know how to reconfigure it can u do a little help with that also
5) What should i tell him (the SDE at exchange)
 
Please wait and check whether the issue comes back. If you are not confident of reconfiguring modem, better leave it to be dealt with the BSNL people. You can call SDE and tell him that you cannot browse even though downloads are fine. Also if the problem occurs, disable firewall/antivirus and check.
