I have been using BSNL data one broad band for more than two years now and I find the best in India. I had been using VSNL now tata indicom and found it was miserable as one would have no service for week long. I had also used Airtel purely on their compulsion to try it as I had been already using dataone. Though they claimed to have faster broadband, I found airtel was considerably slower compared to Data one. Their service engineers came to my office and tried all their level best and finally said, no we cant match their speed!!

I am Agree with you..They provide us fastest speed... Transparent and Smooth service. For cheapest ever rates...I love DataOne

What is your opinion about Asianet Dataline?

Apart from being bit expensive and the frequent downtime , ADL is good and gives you the promised speed. price - is bit more than the BSNL rates.downtime - if you call the CC they curse cable cuts and repairs, but Im getting disconnected once in two weeks and the downtime lasts for a day.Apart from that its great!!! and CC rocks...

Iam using Dataone Broadband 500 Home(Discounted-5000 Per year) from day 1-chennai).Recently when I downloaded from a torrent file the speed was 1.8 Mega Bits/sec.Bsnl is the best.

do they charge u more if the usage is more in some month for Discounted-5000 Per year plan.

I have installed Datafox plugin for Firefox.I have not loggedout in Datafox. So when I open the Firefox chargeble dataflow is displayed.I have made it a point not to exceed the limit of 2.5 GB for Home-500 scheme. When the chargeble dataflow exceeds 2.5 GB,BSNL would charge you for the excess dataflow.
