BSNL DataOne Slow?

like basanti, i too dont love bsnl coz they're going to limit my downloads after jun 30th.... kutte kameenays that they are...

That sounds liek Garam Dharam. LOL.I am prety much sure that they will gradually allow higher bandwidth at the same 1K bucks in time to come. Lets be patient and bear up with them a little for a short while. Reliance will make them open up bandwidth once all india lanch is there.

yup, ehhe, cant wait for reliance to launch...! but even their 10gb limit makes me nervous... I wonder if these people, reliance, bsnl, tata/vsnl, airtel etc are reading any of these kinds of discussion websites or getting feedback/complaints from the public about it....i'm thinking of paying a visit to the bangalore indranagar bsnl office once again in june to talk with the agm and tell him about the limit problem hehe

We r a bandwidth deprived nation and caps on data transfer is inevitable.Its like the rationing system - you want more, buy goods at a higher cost frm elsewhere. You want it cheaper, you get in limited quantities. Gradually the limits would be raised and we'd begin to see providers offering unlimited transfers. After all, not long ago, dialup connections used to come at Rs.10000-15000. We've come a long way from that.

well i am sure there must be someone out here... who is keeping a close watch on this forum and telling BSNL ppl... that these ppl r surfing more than the amount that they pay....heheheh like me i mean like me in the sense that i surf so much.. checked my last months account details and guess how many Gb's i downloaded... lol... 15GB.... worked on VPN... downloaded hell lotta songs.... and so much more.. played online games.. man this is fun... i wish its the same after 30th june too mummyyyyyyyyyyy

If u downloaded 15GB, then ur 256 Kbps connexn must be working fine. In April I downloaded 15 GB. Mostly softwares, thru eMule and Bittorrent. This month I have downloaded only 9GB and running out of ideas abt. what to download. I need some ideas guys on what to download, apart from songs.

Was considering that but got Encarta 2005 DVD...over 3GB size. So I'm downloading it. Will keep me occupied for some more days.
