BSNL DataOne: strange problem

hi,
few days back my D-Link 502t modem, was showing ADSL_G.dmt.bis as
modulation but now it shows ADSL_2plus, and when i try to set it manually
to ADSL_G.dmt.bis its not working well.

may be exchange no longer supports g.dmt or started to support adsl2+

but my excahge is not big there may be few connections, and what is thediffrence, it was better that i changed it to defalt other wise i would have gone mad for finding the problem

not much difference afa current speeds are concerned, both support 2mbps. u shudnt worry as long as any works
