i am getting high ping on bsnl ftth and even many sites are getting er timed out error on chrome browser.
Please check MTU settings in your ONU or Router. Most ISPs use 1480 or 1492 either one of them should work.
Change MTU to 1460 and you will be able to access all websites and use all apps.
While setting the mtu 1460 the speed bis reduce to 20mbps
I guess in jammu mostly the default MTU setting was 1492. I used to get 20 mbps in day and 40-50 mbps during night time before.
