So I got around to wiring today. Spent the whole day running wires, putting the FTTH & extra LAN cables in casing outside for safety and future proofing, with my carpenter.

End result - I have Gigabit ethernet all over the house.

Added my second R7000 as a wifi access point in literally 5 mins. No wifi dark spots in the house now :D

Setup -
Main router - R7000 (running advanced tomato)
Second access point on floor above - R7000 (running advanced tomato)
Switches - 3 TP-Link Switches where ever I need gigabit ports.

To do -
1) Getting the Raspberry pi 4 storage server up
2) Getting my PiHole up again.

Might do both tonight.

NOW, Im itching to get the 100mbps plan. Do you guys recommend it?

100mbps? not until you have a proper use case scenario .
Check if you can get that 777- 50mbps plan with 500gb. It might be availble for first 6 months.
A point to be noted, I am having severe disconnections on bsnl for past one month might be due to that botnet crap, Speed test results show lower speed even to airtel broadband (20mbps for 50mbps connection). But then again most time its good.

You already know our answer😇

If you wanted a 50 mbps suggestion, try the automobile forum :p

On a serious note, if usage for extra data, and more than one heavy user (like person streaming 4k hdr etc), then definitely yes.

Please do share a few pics of the wire management / casing and setup.

Yes already on 777 plan. In 6 months itll be 850. So basically 1000 with gst and the 100mbps plan is 1500 with gst.
So I was thinking for 500 I get double speed and 30% more data.
