@abhinavmail1 I had no such issues and im hailing from kerala. Thought it might be same everywhere, my bad.
To be honest my account no. Billing Account everything remains same so the old deposit was transfered automatically to the new one.
If they are being careless about it just check if account number and billing no. is same for your new ftth.
And yes contact your district billing office of bsnl. Not the local one. Ask thier number and contact them and then ask them to transfer the deposit details to the new account.
They can't just run away from it you are legally obliged to get it.

Yeah @Jiharsh getting the security amount in cash might be hard due to severe loss bsnl/mtnl is facing right now but still transferring the deposit to your new account isn't that hard. Its just you need to ask the proper guy. People in my regional bsnl office also didn't agree to it contacted my district billing section for bsnl. He told it can be done without any issues and the new bill will be of reduced amount.

😊👍
I have different billing account on both of the bills. I will complain to higher authorities at BSNL and I will update here if anything positive comes out. Thanks🙏

The same issue, they assigned different billing account and my security deposit is stuck for 2 years. They simply say CASH is not coming and we can't adjust your amount in another billing account. What can be done in this case?

What you gon' do with all that junk (bandwidth)? All that junk (bandwidth) inside your trunk?
100 Mbps is 12.5 MBps, that's pretty slow in my opinion.

I seed, download 50 GB+ PC Games, stream 4k etc. Plus there's another heavy user in my household.

If BSNL offered 1Gbps I'd be using that instead.

Well i dont know about that I had my exchange make sure my billing account was same. Infact it came as the same account i never had to ask them to change anything. Only thing i asked was the to transfer the deposit amount.

I had learned about it recently, when I got the connection for ftth. They never do it consciously on their own. My uncle had the ftth for one year and he didn't know about it too. (he had the same billing account though).
Once he went and enquired about his deposit he was informed that said deposit amount will be deducted for his next bill. He pays the bill annually. So he got a deduction of around 2.3k for his 2020 bill (from March 2020 - 2021 March)
