@Ashwat22100 Look at the connector and tell me if it has 4 wires or 8?
i also got the same cable with only 4 strands of wire in it and it is limited to 100 megs only.

I can see 4 wires 2 white one red one green.i guess it's a cat 5 cable but at the same time if a company is providing an ont capable of giving 1000 mbps why would it give a cable which doesn't support the same right? I mean if they are saying it's an ont which is 1000 mbps capable then the cable should also be cat 5e+.

@Ashwat22100 I get what you're saying but lets not expect any logic what-so-ever from the companies that are importing cheap generic chinese routers and stamping their name on it.
BTW, now that it's almost certain that the wire is bottleneck here how do you plan on taking full advantage of your speeds over WiFi?

99% of my work is through my computer also it's just because of the pandemic (work from home) i upgraded my plan. Mostly I'll get a 5 ghz router in the coming months or so , thank you for your help though :).

If the link speed you see on your PC is 100 Mbps instead then it's the cable. Archer C20 is a 100 Mbps router but has 5Ghz band, sometimes things don't make sense.

Get a Cat6 or higher cable and the Archer A7 or C7 when decide to go for a router.

Hey,
1) yes it is reflected in my portal, also i received the new bill where the amount was of the new plan(which shouldn't be the case because this bill is of march, in March i was still using the old plan and i should have got the old amount but anyways that's a different topic) . I got the Hotstar premium too.
2) the entire cable is blank, it is in yellow colour and has absolutely nothing written over it nor on the connectors checked for the same twice or thrice.

I think your plan isn't changed. It's only changed in the documents. You should contact the local office, happened with me. On portal, it was showing changed but nothing changed in real time.

How would be archer AC1200 MU-MIMO (i mean archer c6) or AC1200?
I am getting both the next day but c7 is taking time to reach here due to the restrictions.
