it does have open-wrt support, couldn't switch because of tether app, that helps me control the app from anywhere.
Helps me to configure any problem or do any changes when im not in home.
@sayantan45 you can use ddns to access complete router configuration from anywhere. Same like the ddns feature of TP-Link. App offers little features but ddns will give full access.
If feasible then do some research over the benefits of openwrt and see if you want to upgrade. SQM does help over the tp link QoS feature. If multiple device use internet simultaneously then tp link QoS will sacrifice latency to provide speeds.
@!!..PD..!! Hi the bufferbloat problem you talked about is on my router side or LCO side? QoS has mostly fixed the, still noticible in some senarios. Will do some research on Open-wrt for my router today.
Why not test it on openwrt and see for yourself?
