BSNL Launches 2 Higher FUP Plans 1 and 2 Mbps

Looked at the existing plans and 2250 plan is the one which actually looks stupid...
New plan - 1445, 2 mbps for 20 Gb, then 1 mbps, 250 free calls within n/w
Old after 512 kbps revision - 2250 , 1 mbps for 100 GB, then 512 kbps, 250 free calls within n/w

If any one going to bsnl office take printout of tariff plans with you its highly unlikely that they know about new plans

Yep 2250 plans look no sense at all
Its highly likely that some major changes will come In few months

BSNL's 2 mbps is more like 1.5 mbps. I would stay away.

MTNL's 2 mbps gives me 1.7 most of the times

Yup. Problem magnifies after you get FUPed. 256kbps is barely usable. Getting 180kbps after getting fuped is worse.

I bet Gmail would still fail to load in it properly.

Gmail loads just fine on 512kbps, although it takes slightly longer than usual to load.

Boy..they should do something about the existing plans...Like the one where..one gets 4Mbps till 8Gigs and 512 Kbps...I wouldn't mind if it got to 1Mbps
