Too much costly , i am using reliance broadband and paying 4mbps unlimited in RS 1199 and getting free calling of 200 Rs.
It means its cost is 999.
I am using Reliance broadband fromm 2008 and they provided great support.

^ But just cos of FUP he downloads in full swing only around the last week. (that's what I remember reading from his posts before)
Now from 4mbps->2mbps would be bearable and he wouldn't have to worry about the fugin FUP.

On a general note, I hope this move by bsnl reciprocates on other private players to introduce competing plans

Reliance plans seems to far much better than BSNL.

The foremost thing is support , if my connection is not working for a week they had done waiver for entire month many time. Any way downtime never happened for more than 24 hours. Holding a connection from last 6 years is long time. Connectivity of BSNL in chandigarh is poor,support team is awful.

Here in Gurgaon BSNL support is better than Airtel AND Reliance. And there is minimal downtime as well. Also... Someone like me would prefer to have a constant internet connectivity than compensation for downtime. Because downtime costs me more than what I pay for broadband.
