BSNL Ping and Latency issue

speedtest site tests appear unreliable.
on upto 2 Mbps dataone bsnl connection .

https://www.speedtest.net

https://www.speedtest.net

https://www.speedtest.net

:cool2::cool2::cool2::cool2::cool2:

this is the effect of the cache in the routers...................which makes that u got higher speeds..............................................

nothing special......try any other bandwidth monitor................

then u can get actual speeds.......................................... :yahoo:

----------

So in that case you tell me essbebe ...... which test should I go for ...which can prove to be reliable here.....

thing is that u never get a speed beyond 2 mbps ..........:whistle::whistle:

i have got been using link-removed premium for more than a year which got great latencty from BSNL...............

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 221ms, Maximum = 240ms, Average = 226ms

225 ms is much better latency from BSNL ......................................

speeds are constant

But then it is not right/........ The smotheness should persist for every stuff......

And then using link-removed Premium needs you to pay Rs. 600 monthly, thats costly and why should I pay when I am getting quality and sometimes even better stuffs from Private Trackers you see.....

:dance:And actually speaking if you own a seedbox and have few slots on it ....then you can easily backthrow link-removed in terms of amount, variety, quality of material you get:yahoo::yahoo:

Morever, about BSNL ping, many of my freind has also reported problems.....
Like on Game Drome...as of low ping many times they have got kicked out...:frown::frown:

.As of which finally they have to go for Sify 512kbps unlimited connection....:frown:

where i have in private tracker even in top sites with ftp access dude......

i got seedbox but link-removed is the best in file sharing ............ i am tons of private trackers in international arena .............

but for some rare stuff we need to have RS thats for sure......

even when i got some stuff from torrents speeds are very consistent.............

I all ready said that BSNL routes are not connected to international routers.............

i got a solution for u guys............. for games....

get a VPN that would cost 100-200 rs with very less latency ..............

get a VPN from germany or from france... because all the routes from Indian to Europe goes from Reliance Comm which has great connectivity................

What is VPN........What do you mean by stating "BSNL routes are not connected to international routers"....Can you clarify about these as I am not able to get it....:wall:Thankyou.....

Thankyou.....

Man u don't google ........... ???

ok VPN is Virtual Private Network................u r data will send to a server in Germany or France where u will get very latency............................

this is how it works............

first u r data will be sent to a server located in Germany ....then the data will forward to internet through it ............

BSNL has no international routers........................................that's trure...........

its got its pipe to Reliance or Airtel dude.. ........ Airtel got undersea cabel to Singapore........................... WHere as Relinace got Flagtelcom ............

About googling....Yes I can do .... But then you dont get a precise answer to the context.... So I ask you ...
Anyways,.... I was saying.....Yo say using VPN can pump up My Latency.....

One more thing...
Can you be more clear with this part please... ----->> Do we have to buy VPN.....
or can WE also get it for free Somewher...

Thanks..... for the reply....dude.....You had been really helpfull actually...Down here(No doubt about that...)

Same problem here; i have been getting fluctuating latency and ping on BSNL and frequently dropped packets.The problem is almost definitely on BSNL's end since this doesn't happen all the time.BSNL really needs to fix their shit. Also why on earth aren't there any broadband providers.Btw im from Kolkata.Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=70ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=67ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=48ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=127ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=49ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=99ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=88ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=84ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=82ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=84ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=91ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=61ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=119ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=65ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=112ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=93ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=92ms TTL=251Reply from 218.248.240.20: bytes=32 time=60ms TTL=251As you can see above, latency fluctuates a lot; dropped packets also happen at times.Also fluctuating ping and latency will affect - streaming video, streaming audio, online games, voice chat and any high bandwidth website e.g. with lots of flash.Please don't say ping and latency aren't important; but again if all you do is casually check emails every other day it's ok i suppose.
